Didn't quite believe it but went to the Sky report to confirm that Song was rated 6/10. Ha ha. Like to see it when he has a good game.

Rio is at least right that he is related to an ex player, Rigobert Song. I can't see us keeping him unless we get into Europe.

Actually first options often come with a fee already agreed, also clauses so if the player / club decide not to take the move then they cannot move to another club for 1/2 transfer windows. Have no idea if that is the case here but it is very common as far as I am aware.

Song and reid were the best players on the pitch A real shame we probably won't see either playing for us next season Ludicrous that you have to pay £50-£60 to watch a football match these days but if you do you want to pay it for players like Song....I love the way he plays

Apart from Brooking and Devonshire in their prime I've not seen a finer player than Song in our shirt.
He's absolute class and must be a bastard to play against. Reminds me of YaYa fuckin Touarey (or however you spell it) the way he seems to just amble about the pitch with the ball at his feet with all the time in the world.
You can't coach or teach that.
Can we keep him - doubtful - he's verging on world class but you never know.
Kidnap his family till he signs may be a way forward..
Trific player Harry, trific - he's got the lot..
COYFI!

The ridiculous thing is what happens if Cameroon lose in the semi-finals.
Rather than Song travelling back to England straight away on either 4 or 5 February, he will be instead involved in a meaningless third-place play-off on exactly the same day as the United match on 7 Feb.

Gutted we lose him, Kouyate and Sakho in January after the FA Cup third round. African Cup of Nations.
We will be all right away to Swansea and home to West Brom, but terrible that we won't have any of the three for Liverpool away on 31 Jan if they make it through the group stage. Otherwise would have fancied our chances for once at Anfield.
If Cameroon and/or Senegal make the semis then we won't have them for Man United at home on 7 February either.
Still at least we can watch every game they play on ITV4.

I guess this is going to happen
If he stays great
If he doesn't, I will enjoy whilst he is here and hopefully we are able to kick on as a result of him being here
